Our client, a well-renowned national homebuilder, seeks a VP of Land Acquisition for sites in Houston, TX.

 

In this role, you will:

• Partner with senior leaders in the presentation of land deals.

• Lead your team in identifying land acquisition opportunities through contacts with key stakeholders such as brokers, builders, bankers, landowners, engineers, planners, attorneys, municipal officials, and others.

• Support land deals from inception to completion.

 

The client is looking for a blend of:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• At least 8 years of experience in land acquisition in progressively responsible positions.

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare, interpret, and present various financial and statistical market analyses.

• Excellent communication skills.

• High proficiency in the MS Office product suite.

• Maintenance of a valid driver’s license.
