Job 1116 - Director of Land Acquisition

Our client, a well-renowned national homebuilder, seeks a Director of Land Acquisition for sites in Corona, CA.


In this role, you will:

  • Partner with senior leaders in the presentation of land deals – the first step in directly driving company growth.

  • Identify land acquisition opportunities through contacts with key stakeholders such as brokers, builders, bankers, landowners, engineers, planners, attorneys, municipal officials, and others.

  • Support land deals from inception to completion.


The client is looking for a blend of:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Experience in land acquisition in progressively responsible positions (of at least 6 years)

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare, interpret, and present various financial and statistical market analyses.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • High proficiency in the MS Office product suite.

  • Maintenance of a valid driver’s license.
